Almatis expands sales organization in China
Almatis has announced the expansion of its Asian sales organization by opening new sales offices in Shanghai and Kaifeng, Hennan Province. The Shanghai office is headed by Xiaomin Xu, and the Kaifeng office by Chen Hao. Both new offices are part of the Qingdao Almatis Co., Ltd, Qingdao.
Gangolf Kriechbaum, chief commercial officer, states, “The rising demand for high-quality specialty aluminas in South East Asia and in China in particular calls for close and integrated customer and support services. With our three strategically located offices in China, we will meet the market's demand of today and tomorrow”. The expansion of the sales forces is also aligned with the expansion plan of the existing tabular alumina facility at Huangdao in the Shangdong province of China.
