The antiblocking, release, and slip additives database was developed to contain data required in their application. Antiblocking, release, and slip additives included in the database can be divided into two categories: generic chemical compounds and commercial additives, which are either mixtures of several components, industrial grades of a particular compound, polymeric materials, or products having unknown, complex composition.
The additive database is divided into five sections: general information, physical properties, health and safety, ecological properties; and, use and performance. The database has 145 data fields to accommodate a variety of data available in source publications. More details on the composition of information can be found on the publisher's web site available at: www.chemtec.org. The data can be viewed on screen, sorted, compared, and printed in predefined format.
The database is excellent companion to Handbook of Antiblocking, Release, and Slip Additives. Information in one publication is not repeated in another.
