New to the existing range of direct high performance dyes from Clariant is Cartasol Blue F3R HP liquid, which is suitable for fine papers, tissue papers and also unbleached and wood- containing paper and board.
Complying with FDA requirements the new metal-free product is proving to be particularly economical in use, whilst providing extremely good performance levels because of its high exhaustion and low COD values.
According to Clariant, Cartasol Blue F3R HP liquid is unique in that it is the only stable liquid of its type in the market and it is a true solution with low viscosity.
Used as either a straight colour or as a blue component it is also an excellent base element for green and violet shades.

An application to patent the production process for Cartasol Blue F3R HP liquid has been made by Clariant and the Company anticipates the introduction of additional colours to the range over the coming months.
