Stort Chemicals Ltd acquires Templar Chemicals
Stort Chemicals, an independent speciality chemical distributor to the Coatings and allied industries in the UK and Ireland, has recently acquired Templar Chemicals. This purchase will substantially increase the range of specialty chemicals offered by the company, and will underpin the very rapid growth shown by Stort in recent years. Additionally, Stort confirmed that V.P.Burke, previously Managing Director of Templar Chemicals, will work closely with the company over the next 12 months, to ensure a smooth transfer of the business. Stort Chemicals was established in 1981, and recently celebrated its Silver Jubilee.
