Lanxess earns EPA registrations for BIT products Lanxess Corp.'s Material Protection Products business unit has received Environmental Protection Agency registration for several formulations based on the active ingredient Benzisothiazolinone (BIT). These formulations included 10-20 percent BIT glycolic solutions, and a 20 percent BIT aqueous dipserions. Lanxess will market BIT under the brand names Biochek BIT 10, Biochek BIT 20 and Biochek BIT 20D.
