BASF has introduced the new Glasurit white 284-25CV Ratio-Truck Surfacer which represents the refinement of the 284-20 surfacer. Compared with its predecessor, it features a range of improved properties. The 284-25CV Ratio-Truck Surfacer helps to save time and material since it can be tinted to match the topcoat. It also ensures better hiding power, particularly on edges for “two-step finishes” which up to now required the prior application of a spraycoat of RAL 9010.
The new product also improves color accuracy. This is because all colors for commercial vehicles are based on a white substrate the color of the new surfacer. Even with high-quality bus finishing, for which the 90 Line CV is used, Glasurit 284-25 Ratio-Truck Surfacer ensures optimum color-matching accuracy. For such applications it can be tinted with 568-408CV Primer Tinting Paste.
