CPS color opens new US facility

CPS color equipment has opened a new center in Concord, NC. Called America’s Center, the 36,000 sq. ft. facility has the capacity to produce more than 4,000 dispensers and shakers per year. The center includes 42 permanent staff members and 22 contractors working in sales, marketing, administration, service and production. It has been designed to allow for future expansion as the business develops. CPS color manufactures automatic tinting dispensers, related software, along with mixing equipment and color merchandising collateral.

International Specialty Products: June 15 – 5-10 percent increase for polymers, vinyl monomers, biocides, emoillents, emulsifiers, preservatives, encapsulates and actives in Latin America.

Reichhold: July 1 – at least $0.06/lb increase on all solvent-based, water-based and water reducible products.

Sartomer: July 1 – 6-12 percent increase for acrylate and methacrylate monomers and oligomers in the Americas.
