Qualitative research at the interface of accounting and management

Article Type: Editor’s note From: Qualitative Research in Accounting & Management, Volume 7, Issue 2

I would like to draw your attention to a slight re-focusing of the objectives and coverage of Qualitative Research in Accounting & Management (QRAM).

A large majority of the contributions to QRAM has addressed issues to do with accounting and its impact on organizational management. These papers have been well received by QRAM readers and have increasingly become the mainstay of QRAM’s scope and contents. For this reason, the scope and objectives of the journal have been clarified to reflect this focus. The stated aim of QRAM is now “to publish international and interdisciplinary research at the interface of accounting and management”. Please see the author guidelines in this issue for further details. Future submissions to this journal will be assessed according to these revised guidelines.

I am confident that this re-focusing of the scope and objectives will clarify QRAM’s role and strengthen its appeal and relevance amongst the community of scholars this journal serves. I also take this opportunity to thank the contributors, editorial team, ad hoc reviewers and readers who support and sustain QRAM’s success as a highly regarded, international forum for excellent qualitative research.
