As part of its global expansion, DEK Printing Machines recently opened its new 32,000 square-feet technology centre in Flemington, New Jersey. The new facility is part of a co-ordinated program to extend DEK's services throughout the USA, as well as in Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and Mexico, in response to increasing demand for DEK's surface mount screen printers.
The new centre houses sales, marketing and product support departments, equipment showrooms and training facilities. The training rooms are PBET-certified to meet the Performance-Based Equipment Training standard required by multi-national electronics manufacturers using DEK equipment, and to provide consistency with other DEK technology centres around the world. The company's new Applied Product Development department and Consumables Business Unit are also based at the new facility.
