The following appointments have recently taken effect at PMJ Automec Corporation.
Deputy chief executive officer Jarmo Kanervo has been placed in charge of the Group's corporate development. The main priority for corporate development is PMJ's functions in the USA as well as the development of information technology. Jarmo Kanervo has been posted to PMJ's site in Dallas. His duties also include investor relations in the USA. Jarmo Kanervo reports to chief executive officer Markku Jokela, who is in charge of investor relations in Europe along with his other duties. As part of the organisational change, vice president Mikko Sipilä is in charge of business development projects in the USA. He is posted in Denver and reports to Jarmo Kanervo. Director Kim Karvinen is responsible for carrying through IT strategy. He is posted in Virkkala and reports to Jarmo Kanervo. Peter Mohn has been appointed group chief financial officer, and he reports to President Markku Jokela.
Pasi Berggren has been appointed director, quality, and he reports to president Markku Jokela. Ville Parpola, Corporate general counsel, reports to President Markku Jokela. The members of the group management team are: chief executive officer Markku Jokela; deputy chief executive officer Jarmo Kanervo; director of quality Pasi Berggren; vice president of worldwide sales and marketing Peter Chan; vice president of operations Petri Ilkka; chief financial officer Peter Mohn; director of customer service Guy Nordström; vice president of product creation Jouni Suutarinen and corporate general counsel Ville Parpola.
