Metcal launches new state-of-the-art web site

Article Type: New products From: Soldering & Surface Mount Technology, Volume 21, Issue 2

OK International has unveiled a newly designed web site to support the launch of its premier Metcal MX-5000 Soldering, Desoldering and Rework System. Featuring the very latest in web design and online technologies, www.metcal.com delivers a direct portal to Metcal product information, interactive material and video demonstrations.

The web site www.metcal.com provides even easier access to a wealth of product information, enabling visitors to learn more about Metcal technologies. Advanced features include an animated homepage banner showcasing the benefits of the newly launched MX-5000 Series Soldering, Desoldering and Rework System, a high-performance package for complex assembly applications. The web site also hosts a video of the MX-5000 System in action and an MX-5000 brochure download. Other highlights include a video guide to OK International’s exclusive SmartHeat® Technology, complete system configurations and soldering cartridge information.

“Metcal represents industry-leading soldering and rework technologies, so supporting this with premium online content is essential – it’s nothing less than our customers have come to expect,” explains OK International Marketing VP Global Sales & Marketing, Tom Seratti. “We know that today’s manufacturers don’t have the time to surf the web looking for relevant product information, which is why we’ve created this easy-to-use online resource featuring everything they need in one place.”

Tom continues: “Innovatively presenting the most up-to-date product information along with video content and technical downloads, www.metcal.com shows visitors exactly how they can achieve the soldering, desoldering and rework results they need to compete successfully. What’s more, we’ll be continually updating the site with new content, so I’d encourage visitors to check back regularly for all the latest news and information.”
