Editorial
The editorial team at Industrial lubrication & Tribology were very pleased to be able to attend The International Joint Tribology Conference recently held in San Diego.
This is an annual event organised by two American technical bodies namely the STLE and the ASME.
This is a major conference at which papers are presented on all areas of research currently of interest to those in our field.
As mentioned in previous issues of ILT, we cannot recommend too highly to our readers to try and attend these types of conferences. They are supported by basic researchers and papers are very often down to earth and demonstrate the real practical work going on in research facilities across the world.
In the “Forthcoming Events” section we list many meetings being held this year. The ILT team look forward to perhaps meeting you at one of these worthwhile conferences.
In this issue we are pleased to include papers from China, Poland, Iran and Turkey.
We hope these provide interesting reading but as always we welcome your comments.
