| Abstract: | Purpose – The purpose of this article is to describe highlights from the NISO ERM Forum held September 2007 in Denver, Colorado. Design/methodology/approach – The article notes key areas from the conference, gleaned from speaker comments, audience feedback, and conversations with attendees. Findings – The biggest impediment to successful e-resource management is lack of sufficient staffing. Originality/value – This article provides a current view on the issues surrounding electronic resource management activities and ERMS deployment. |
