Emerald Literati Awards

Emerald's publishing philosophy highlights six areas that inform the development of our journals and books:

• Internationality

• Support for scholarly research
• Encouragement of applied research (impact)
• Commitment to high quality scholarship
• A desire to ensure reader, author and customer experience is the best it can be.

These are also the areas we look to when we recognize and reward the efforts of authors and editors with the Emerald Literati Awards.

Each year Emerald, in collaboration with the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), awards a series of Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards (ODRAs).

ODRAs winners receive a cash prize of €1,500 (or currency equivalent), a certificate, a winners' logo to attach to correspondence and the prospect of an offer of publication in the sponsoring journal – either as a full paper or an executive summary – at the discretion of the Editor(s). Each year there are 12 categories.

• The Operations and Production Management Category is sponsored by the International Journal of Operations & Production Management.
