Benefits
The journal circulates the state of the art in the area of structural integrity.
The published works reflect extensive and expensive research projects.
The published works usually have the quality control of big research centres and manufacturers.
The published works encapsulate trends and problems usually not visible in traditional research papers.
The journal will be the platform for dissemination and exploitation of large research projects usually funded by the European Union, NASA, NSF, etc.
Interviews will enable readers to be updated on issues related to future plans and current problems.
Marketing/advertising material will be a useful source for up-to-date knowledge.

Dissemination of Research Projects
It is within the policy of the International Journal of Structural Integrity to assist research consortia in disseminating their research findings. The journal is willing to publish, without scientific review, the whole or self sustained parts of the final research report. The submitted report should be signed by all members of the consortium and the outcomes should express their views only.
The published reports should not exceed 14 A4 pages including figures and artwork following the same writing instructions as those used for the articles (see Author Guidelines).
Research News
The International Journal of Structural Integrity accepts publication of:
Research news coming from ongoing investigations,
Prospective research activities indicating the need for establishing research consortia,
Completion of PhD Thesis including a title and a small abstract of no more than 250 words describing the basic findings.
New testing methodologies. Description should be given in terms of a single A4 page accompanied by no more than 3 figures, pictures, etc.
Technological Achievements
The International Journal of Structural Integrity accepts publication of verified technological achievements being able to demonstrate a verified and well established benefit. The corresponding article should not exceed 3A4 pages including 4 figures.
