Editorial objectives

Journal of Management History reflects on the historical development of management concepts and practices, with a view to how they inform the present and shape what we are and what we do. The journal also concerns areas of study such as social-anthropological studies of organization, business history, accounting history, history as science, philosophy, fads and fashions in the practice of management and in management consulting.

Papers from this journal will enable readers to improve judgement by apprising current and future scholars and practitioners about the experiences of those in different times and places.
