16th Annual Case Writing Competition: Announcement of results!

All submissions have been reviewed and the results are now in. Although many high-quality cases studies were received, ultimately the judging panel was able to choose an outright winner.

Dietmar remarked: "I feel very privileged to have won the 2010 CEEMAN/Emerald Case Writing Award, especially also because the award comes from two institutions who are deeply dedicated to support faculty members in their research and teaching development. This recognition would not have been possible without the inspiration from all my colleagues and friends from CEEMAN´s International Management Teachers Academy IMTA and from the School of Management at Carinthia University of Applied Sciences. Dietmar Sternad will be awarded a CEEMAN/Emerald prize of €1,500 at an award presentation to take place at the CEEMAN annual meeting in Naples plus:

• possibility of publishing the case in the Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies;
• free participation in the 18th CEEMAN Annual Conference, to be held on 23-25 September 2010 in Naples, Italy;
• free accommodation at the conference hotel for up to three nights;
• reimbursement of travel costs up to €500.
