"Performance of Peruvian banks in terms of service quality using alternative techniques: implications for bank management to bridge the overall gap"
"We are extremely honored to receive the highly commended award for last three consecutive years. On behalf of CENTRUM Católica, Graduate School of Business, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Emerald Group Publishing Limited and their esteemed judging panel for choosing our research. The research project aims to reexamine the SERVQUAL instrument in Peruvian banking sector and evaluate the service quality using various alternative approaches to derive the important implications for bank management. The study proposes the application of dominance analysis to derive the relative importance of each critical factor, followed by the estimation of gap elasticities using log-linear regression models. Further, the application of data envelopment analysis is proposed to evaluate the service quality efficiency of different banks with special treatment to Likert-scale data."

Dr Rogmans commented "It was a great honor for me to be awarded the runner up prize for the Emerald/EFMD MENA Management Research Fund Award. My research project on "Corporate Governance practices and corporate performance in the MENA region" is still ongoing, but already the financial and moral support provided by this award has been a great encouragement.
