Linking knowledge to innovation and bottom line benefits: Investigating best practice
Abstract
Knowledge management (KM) is the systematic and organized attempt to use knowledge within an organization to improve performance. For many companies in a wide range of industries, this practice is becoming an accepted part of the business agenda. However, even for these companies, questions about the real benefits of KM still remain. For instance does KM help organization become more innovative, how, and does it really deliver measurable bottom line benefits.
