New developments concerning discrimination against workers with HIV or AIDS
Abstract
Indicates the number of people in the USA who have contracted HIV or AIDS. Looks at discrimination against people with HIV or AIDS in the US workplace, setting out their legal protection and the obligation set upon employers not to discriminate against them. Assesses the implications of this for employers’ benefits plans and human resource practices. Outlines the policies and procedures that employers should adopt to make sure that there is no discrimination against people with HIV or AIDS in the workplace.
