Abstract

This section describes how library resources and services are made available through the EL. Access is considered in several forms including interface design and continuity, creating and testing the effectiveness of subject‐based organization, Web page menuing versus OPAC cataloging, electronic texts and publishing initiatives, desktop GIS applications and geospatial data sets, remote access from locations outside the libraries, and adaptive (ADA) technologies.
