Abstract
Within 10 years, Sally Bell has progressed from being a resident warden to head of a sheltered housing service. She says that her dedication comes from ‘a deep respect’ for older people and, as Sally describes her journey from one role to the other, she reveals a deep appreciation for the places where she has worked and for the many residents whom she has supported along the way.
