Abstract

Management is not easy in an environment of continual change, and it is fatally easy to adopt a ‘quick fix’ approach to the problems created by new initiatives. Many organisations are finding that instant responses and latest buzzwords are not delivering. It is time to stop trying to re‐invent the wheel and start focusing on objectives and methods ‐ and accepting the need for both vision and patience.
