Abstract

The basis of current working relationships between housing associations and managing agents was established by FLAP ‐ a financial and legal advisory panel co‐ordinated by the National Housing Federation. As part of the ODPM's preparatory work for the introduction of Supporting People, its successor, FLAP2, has been meeting to draft agreements which will enable such partnerships to continue in the post‐April 2003 environment. Tristan Wood, a member of both panels, sets out the proposed arrangements and the key issues that have arisen in discussions to date.
