Readers of the paper will notice that this volume seems much bigger than usual, while online readers will notice that there seem to be more papers included. This is, in fact, true as this issue contains 15 papers; this demonstrates the continuing growth and popularity of the Journal. At the beginning of this year – after ten successful years of growth and development – we increased the size of each issue from 10 papers to 11 papers. But even that is not sufficient to publish all the high-quality papers which we accept for publication and so for this issue and the next, we have increased the size to include 15 papers. This means that this year – 2015 – we will publish 52 papers in the Journal, making it one of the largest academic journals. This reflects the continuing increase in popularity of the Journal to such an extent that we are unable to publish all the good-quality papers which are received. So over time, we have become more discriminating and only accept the very best papers.

The nature of the papers we accept and publish reflects the diverse nature of the topic of social responsibility as we are interested in all aspects of this very important subject. Our readers and writers are similarly interested in the breadth of the subject. And it is a subject of global importance so we receive contributions from every part of the world, making it a very diverse and international Journal. Moreover, we reflect this in our Editorial Advisory Board membership, as we believe that a topic of global importance should be treated globally by international experts. We also believe that the quality of the Journal and its contributions has increased during the decade of its existence and that improvement should be continuous. So if you have any suggestions, then please contact me to discuss. And if you are interested in serving on the Editorial Advisory Board, then please contact me to express your interest and outline how you believe you can contribute to the continuing improvement of the Journal. Please note, however, that Social Responsibility Journal is the official journal of the Social Responsibility Research Network and you should ideally already be a member of the network and familiar with its aims and objectives. If you do not know about the Network, then have a look at our Web site – http://www.socialresponsibility.biz which can also be accessed from the Journal Web site.

The Network also has a book series – Developments in Corporate Governance and Responsibility and this also is published by Emerald. You can find full details from the Web site also. Volume 7 – Corporate Social Responsibility in the Digital Age has just been published and Volume 8 is currently in press. Call for papers for future books have also been issued so if you are interested in contributing to these, then also please check the details and contact me. This is also the same if you are interested in editing a volume yourself. This is quite a lot of information which I have provided – hopefully much for you to think about and I look forward to hearing from you at some point in the future. In the meantime, here is an extra large number of papers about some interesting topic. So I will finish at this point and leave you to read the papers and then join in the discourse.
