OMI names two and closes gap
Two top appointments and a closer alignment of OMI's previously separated documentation and integrated logistics support divisions, coupled with strengthened customer care, are pointing the way forward.
Calvin Barnett has become director and general manager driving the stream- lined operation. He previously managed the technical information division of Hunterskil Howard and held various senior positions in marketing, project and IT management during his years with the Howard Group.
Darci Lee Pelton has joined OMI as international business development manager from Grif, the European SGML (standard generalised markup language) software developer where she had the same role. Her expertise spans the European, North American and Asian markets and her appointment mirrors OMI's growing commitment to SGML.
