Keyword: FLS Aerospace

The aircraft maintenance base operated by FLS Aerospace at Copenhagen airport was established one year ago. The FLS Aerospace group management has taken the opportunity presented by this first anniversary to review the management of its Scandinavian operations. With immediate effect JÖrgen Òrstam joins FLS Aerospace as Managing Director, FLS Aerospace A/S. Jens Hedegaard, who managed the establishment of the operation, will be pursuing other opportunities within the FLS Industries Group.

JÖrgen has the experience of many years within the airline and aircraft maintenance industry, most recently holding the post of Technical Director of Premiair A/S. Earlier in his career he was Technical Director of SAS Denmark, with responsibility for all traffic related maintenance within the SAS system and Managing Director of Danish Aerotech, part of FLS Industries aerospace activities.

JÖrgen Òrstam brings much experience to FLS Aerospace A/S and FLS Aerospace AB, to ensure the continued success of the FLS Aerospace PMOTM strategy, to the benefit of our customers - our first priority. Over the last 12 months the facilities at Copenhagen have become an important element in the FLS Aerospace Prime Maintenance Organisation (PMOTM) and they are developing a strong customer base. The base recently enhanced its position as Scandinavia's leading provider of independent maintenance by acquiring a hangar operation in Stockholm's Arlanda airport.
