Optical filter sampling kit

An optical filter sampling kit is available from Oxley Avionics which, it is thought, will enable equipment design engineers to assess the optical properties of the company's night vision optical filters (Plate 2). The kit comprises 12 different samples from the Oxley standard range, and includes both incandescent and LED light source filter materials in a variety of thicknesses and optical transmission characteristics.

Avionics' optical filter sampling kit
Designed to ensure that cockpit and avionics displays are compatible with the latest night vision goggle (NVG) technology, the night vision filters are ideal for use in all types of primary and secondary lights, central warning panels, master caution indicators, floodlights and LED based switches and annunciators.
The samples in the kit include NVIS/NVG, green A, green B, red, white and yellow standard filter materials, and details of optical properties for each sample are listed in full together with their Oxley filter part numbers and ordering information.
