Marconi selects Windchill CPC solutions

PTC reports an order in excess of $1 million from Marconi, for its Windchill CPC software solutions. Marconi will use Windchill for Web deployment and rapid migration from internally developed tools, as well as integration with business units from around the world.
This order of 1,300 seats takes Marconi's current Windchill implementation to a total of 3,800 seats. The Windchill product will work in conjunction with PTC's Pro/ENGINEER product, which is already in production deployment. By using the two systems together, Marconi will be able to make last-minute changes – whether large or small – to a design without compromising hours of work and testing.
