Walter GB of Redditch has won a Messier-Dowty Supplier Performance Award for providing "significant support in terms of tooling utilisation and optimisation" to the company's landing gear production activities (Plate 7).

Based on Walter GB's level of proactive supplier management in terms of both product quality and delivery performance, the award also recognises the tooling system company's role in consistently maintaining its added-value relationship with Messier-Dowty's manufacturing operations in Gloucester, UK and in Montreal, Canada.
