Mike O'Grady has been appointed business development manager for Brookhouse Aerospace Ltd, of Tameside, UK. In his new position, Mike will be responsible for growing the company's existing, extensive work in the aerospace area and for developing other market sectors, which offer the potential to make use of Brookhouse's comprehensive manufacturing, assembly and surface treatment resources. He will also be responsible for developing the activities of the Brookhouse Group in the USA and Canada.
Mike has spent most of his working life in the aerospace industry. He served an apprenticeship with BAe Systems in Chadderton, before founding Advanced Aero Ltd, in Nottinghamshire, where he was managing director for ten years. Latterly, he was employed by a venture capital organisation to manage its acquisitions in the commercial and aerospace sectors throughout the North West.
