Lubrication research experts unite

Lubrication research experts unite Keywords: UK, Canada, Lubrication, Open University

We are informed that a leading research group for lubricants could be forged as a result of a link-up of experts from the academic and industrial sectors in the UK and Canada.

Staff at the Open University's Lubrication Research Group predict that their link-up with the Institute for Aerospace Research at the National Research Council of Canada will provide exciting prospects for the years ahead. The partnership was ratified recently when OU vice-chancellor Sir John Daniel signed the collaboration agreement.

The agreement stems from a visit that Dr Parkins made to the Institute for Aerospace Research last year. Following the OU signing, the collaborative agreement was sent to Canada and signed by Bill Wallace, director-general of the Institute for Aerospace Research.
