Vincent Shaw has been appointed operations manager of the Holme Mill facility at Brookhouse Composites Ltd, of Darwen, UK. In his new position, Vincent will be responsible for controlling all composites manufacturing at Holme Mill, which includes day-to-day operation of the company's extensive resources in terms of clean room facilities, autoclaves and automatic ply-cutting equipment. He will also be involved in long-term resource planning and will be directly responsible for all health and safety aspects of the company's operations.
Vincent, a time-served toolmaJcer with a BSc in Production Engineering, has been involved in manufacturing engineering for over 25 years. Before joining Brookhouse he was operations manager at Cobble (Blackburn) Ltd, having previously been technical services manager.
