Recently at the introduction of Microsoft's Windows XP Tablet PC Edition in New York, Dassault Systemes (Nasdaq: DASTY; Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) demonstrated the powerful 3D capabilities of CATIA V5, a leading 3D product development solution, on Microsoft's new Windows XP operating system. By using Tablet PCs, product designers and engineers can extend the functionality and usage of CATIA V5 far beyond the office.

The seamless integration of CATIA V5's features with the impressive mobility of the Tablet PC is said to open the door to a new world of product design and collaboration in which 3D engineering data can easily be shared without physical constraints.
