Eurocopter Canada in Fort Erie has contracted Dunlop Aerospace Services (DAS) to maintain and repair the main and tail rotors for the AS350 and AS355 Squirrel helicopters it handles (Plate 7).

DAS, based in Coventry, England provides exchange, repair and life expired overhaul services for these and other actuators in both rotary and fixed wing aircraft.

DAS also repairs airframe and engine hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic equipment and is FAR 145 approved by the F.A.A. as a repair station. Specialist repair shops for aircraft wheels, brakes and brake management systems are located at Coventry and Liege, Belgium.

DAS has also won a contract to support Ryanair's fleet of 21 Boeing 737-200s based at Dublin and Stanstead (Plate 8). The contract was placed by Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) which has the primary support contract with Ryanair.

The company will provide maintenance for the wheels and brakes of the Ryanair fleet from facilities in Coventry, UK. DAS is also capable of providing services for the repair and maintenance of airframe and engine hydraulics, pneumatic and electronic equipment, DAS is FAR 145 approved by the F.A.A. as a repair station.
