The Perfect Fit Aracut Max Heavy knitted glove from Bacou-Dallox is state-of-the-art hand protection for those involved in the dry handling of sharp sheet metal or glass work in industries such as automotive, glass manufacturing, steel and aluminium (Plate 4). Made from Du-Pont's new Kevlar Armor Technology, the seven-gauge plated and steel knitted gloves achieve the maximum level 5 protection according to standard EN 388. The new Kevlar Armor Technology offers a cut resistance which is at least 50 per cent higher than that of products made from traditional Kevlar. Bacou-Dalloz is the only manufacturer in the European market to offer such a glove today.

The qualities of the Aracut Max Heavy make it perfectly suitable for the handling of blades, knives and other sharp instruments. In addition, this glove offers an effective solution for work involving fixed blades, cutting or sizing operations and for work in a high-risk environments involving the handling of glass or cutting materials, with or without the presence of sparks and/or fire.

The glove's yellow/blue colour makes it more resistant to soiling. Aracut Max Heavy gloves can be washed at 40°C or dry-cleaned, if they have come in contact with oil.
