Endoscope and optical inspection products for maintenance and servicing

Primalec is moving into optical inspection and visual quality assurance in a big way with new products set to capture market share in many industries where optical inspection is crucial.

The Invictalux Endoscope is a precision optical tool using fibre optics to enable engineers to send light round corners – and to see clearly the hidden areas that the light is illuminating. Used with the Invictalux power pack and handle, the Invictalux Endoscope is a top quality instrument with a resolution of 7,400 pixels, a field of view of 408 and the ability to use the latest Invictalux UV and white Super-bright light heads. The Invictalux Endoscope has a 60cm (24in.) flexible shaft plus a clip-on 908 mirror to further boost its ability to see around corners, and comes either as a complete kit in an aluminium case or as the Endoscope module alone to use with your existing Invictalux inspection kit.

The new compact Invictalux Bore and Cavity Inspector costs less than £50 and, like the Invictalux Endosope, is available either as an accessory head to the successful Primalec Invictalux inspection system or as a complete bore and cavity inspector with the Invictalux power pack and handle. Like the rest of the Invictalux inspection system, the bore and cavity inspector is built to the most advanced precision engineering standards and has a high quality magnifying lens.

The Invictalux professional inspection light system is used for diagnostic, general inspection in quality assurance and general engineering practice, as well as for UV fluorescent leak detection. Light heads available include UV, white, and blue plus Primalec's unique Magnifocus vectored-beam head, all with LED (light-emitting diode) technology.

Alongside those, a whole range of practical accessories includes a flexible screw-on swan neck to extend the lamp's range and reach to inaccessible places and a new detachable neck with a magnet and white light to enable technicians to locate and pick up small components from tight spots. Invictalux is upgradeable, vital at a time when inspection light technology is advancing so quickly.

The Invictalux system is the result of considerable investment in research, product design and quality testing to ensure that only the best materials and manufacturing techniques are used. Each batch of LEDs and each finished lamp is rigorously tested to ensure that you get optimum results. All components are interchangeable so you can fit the right light head for the job – UV MagniFocus narrow spot, UV-5 medium spot, white medium spot – and use it with or without a swan neck reacher.

The new Invictalux Endoscope and the Bore and Cavity Inspector are available now from Primalec, whose catalogue includes a full range of cost- effective products for inspection, aircon servicing and repair. Get your copy of the catalogue by going to www.primalec.co.uk
