Siemens product lifecycle management (PLM) software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division and a provider of PLM software and services, recently announced that Saab Aerosystems invested in teamcenter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) as an addition to their existing teamcenter installation in an effort to reuse all product data for customer support.

Saab Aerosystems, a business unit within the Saab Group, invested in teamcenter four years ago for its product data management of the fighter plane JAS Saab 39 Gripen with a focus on reducing development time and annual costs. Recently, announcement adds even more value.
