Computamation Systems has just released version 12.1 of Vutrax®. Vutrax® PCB design software is no ordinary ECAD package. Running on Windows™ 95, 98, NT 3.51, 4.0 and WindowsTM 2000, it is suitable for every type of PCB. The software is written in the UK and covers design, layout and electromechanical requirements, representing the complete professional solution for the PCB designer.
Version 12.1 includes new features and updates which ensure that the software maintains its extremely high status among professional users of PCB design software.
A major enhancement is a complete new online help system which now includes an integrated browser, search engine and completely new integrated tutorials, ensuring that design engineers can easily make full use of all the comprehensive facilities that make Vutrax® a leader in its field. The new system will cut training and refresher time and provide a quick reminder of the considerable capabilities of this software.
Vutrax® helps the busy professional with such features as "Recently Used Files" providing a short list of the latest file titles and saves engineers searching through a complete index. But when it is necessary to search the full database, a new search tool makes this easy. Further help via project-based menu systems can be introduced and used concurrently, then stored with each job.
The new software also addresses the function within WindowsTM of message boxes appearing over a part of the screen that is currently in use. Vutrax® enables these boxes to be relocated to suit the operator.
