Valor re-structures for growth

Keyword Valor

Valor Computerized Systems has announced new appointments in Europe and Israel as the company positions itself for growth and new product introductions moving into the millennium.

Bernhard Ammon (Plate 1) joins Valor as Country Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland to provide a new focus and support for the team of value-added resellers in these regions. Bernhard comes to Valor with significant EDA experience. Previously he was the German Sales Manager at Avant and before that he held various engineering and sales positions at Analog Devices, VLSI Technology and Mentor Graphics. "My goal at Valor is to establish Trilogy 5000 and Enterprise 3000 as the primary tools for supporting and improving the OEM to PCB and assembly shop processes, particularly within major accounts. Valor's product triangle philosophy spans PCB design, fabrication and assembly and is a powerful toolset that saves cycle time, improves quality and yield, and solves integration issues", stated Ammon.

At the company's headquarters in Israel, founding partner Moshik Kovarsky moves into the position of VP New Technologies and Ayal Bahary steps in as VP Corporate Software Engineering. Kovarsky will concentrate his efforts towards developing new software technologies which leverage off Valor's substantial design for manufacturing (DFM) product range, all rounded on the ODB++ de facto standard for new-generation data exchange in the PCBPCA industries.
