GraphiCode has announced the availability of release 1.0.8 of its GC-PowerStation CAM software for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing. GC-PowerStation is a true Windows application with a user interface designed specifically for PCB CAM.
With this new version, GC-PowerStation brings lower cost of ownership, higher productivity, and increased flexibility. GC-PowerStation features a familiar user interface with customizable hotkeys, multiple views, and toolbars providing the user full control over the interface. It is also possible to create new functionality with GraphiCode's GC-BASIC programming language.
GC-PowerStation runs on the desktop PC Platform, essentially eliminating the need to run expensive workstations. Flexible input and powerful outputs combined with enhanced CAM functionality result in higher throughput and lower costs. GC-PowerStation offers additional scripting capabilities to streamline workflow and enhance productivity, bringing new efficiencies to the process.
GC-PowerStation contains a re-designed DFM tool that provides enhanced analysis of the PCB and filters errors based on type, size, and layer. By using the familiar Explorer interface the values can easily be set, saved, and reused, ensuring rapid set-up. Engineered to process large files, GC-PowerStation dramatically increases turnaround on even the most complex jobs.
