GSPK Engineering, in partnership with Enthone Ltd, has installed a new state-of-the-art direct metallization process line at GSPK Circuits' facility in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, UK. The system features Enthone's Envision® DMS-E metallization system and GSPK Engineering's Pearl Horizontal Processor.
GSPK Engineering and GSPK Circuits are owned by the GSPK Group, but operate as separate companies. The Pearl Horizontal Processor is a key building-block in GSPK Circuits' drive for the highest PWB yields at the lowest cost of ownership.
The 9.15 meter line is predominantly constructed from 12mm polypropylene; however, a stainless steel module was provided to withstand the higher operating process temperature in the Envision Initiator step. The line incorporates all of the GSPK range of standard features as well as some unique design engineering to ensure compatibility with the particular requirements of the Envision DMS-E direct metallization system.
