Nanya's PWB and laminate plants are being erected on “Nanya Campus”, which is 1,030 acre along Shanghai–Suzhou Highway. The site has plants that manufacture glass yarn, glass cloth, copper foil, epxoy mixing and laminate, enabling total vertical integration
The PWB site will be built in three phases. By the time Phase III is completed in 2009, the PWB operation will have 3,000,000 sq.ft of floor space, four times larger than the closed Richmond facility of Viasystems, the single largest PWB facility under one roof in the world. The planned production capacity after the completion of Phase III is expected to be about 2,000,000sq.ft per month of MLBs (Plate 1).
