Sony TIMMS has announced a partnership with Unit UK Ltd, for sales and marketing of its MPM software package, TIMMS, reinforcing the company's increasing commitment to provide a leading state-of-the-art solution for advanced printed circuit board manufacturing, featuring full material control and traceability to both military and medical standards.
This announcement follows the recent opening of the new TIMMS office in Japan during September 2002, and the sales operation in the US during January 2003, and is a further step in the company's global strategy to establish TIMMS as the industry benchmark in the Manufacturing Process Management (MPM) market, which is anticipated to expand on average by 33.2 per cent annually over the next 10 years, according to Frost and Sullivan.
