Lloyd Doyle has announced an installation in Europe for the groundbreaking new automatic optical test system, redlineX′. Elprinta NV of Mouscron, Belgium confirmed the deal at the Productronica 2003 exhibition. Elprinta specialises in the production of a full range of complex pcb's including fine line work for prototype applications.
Richard Frisk, Lloyd Doyle company president commented: "The unique ability of the redline system to optically test a wide variety of pcb substrate/surface combinations makes it ideally suited to a prototype environment where the customer demands complete flexibility. Elprinta's customer base is demanding higher quality products which means that Elprinta will use this system for both their inner and outer layer requirements".
Rudi Panis, Lloyd Doyle Sales Representative in Belgium went on to add: "Development of redline demonstrates Lloyd Doyle's ongoing commitment to listening to the customers needs and to fulfilling them".
Redline is available as a stand alone system or can be retrofitted to the existing AOT systems as an upgrade. Automatic optical test, takes AOI one step further.
