Automa-Tech-ORC imaging introduce “Acura-BGA”

The Acura-BGA – high end model of the Acura range – is dedicated to IC substrates manufacturing with following exclusive features:

  • highly collimated light;

  • glass temperature regulation for artwork preservation;

  • automatic artwork cleaning;

  • absolute artwork and panel deviation measurement;

  • pre-registration large belt entry station for thin material; and

  • new “Conformal Magnet Imaginge (CMI®)”.

This new patented system allows a perfect contact between the artwork emulsion and the printed circuit board surface. Owing to this perfect contact between artwork and dry resist or ink, a very high resolution down to 10mm (0.4mil) is achieved.

This fundamentally new feature is particularly dedicated to outerlayers with uneven topographic surface (typically ups and downs in a range of 50-100mm).

The “CMI®” system is also very well adapted to expose soldermask panels due to its ability to cope with surface irregularities.

The new feature neither affects the “standard Acura” productivity nor the registration accuracy provided by a state of the art glass-glass exposure system.
