Article Type: Industry news From: Circuit World, Volume 35, Issue 4

CIL, the Andover-based electronics design manufacturing company, has increased its flying probe test capability by installing a new Takaya APT9401CE. The installation is part of the company's continuous investment programme and is required to increase capacity for new business activities.

The Takaya APT9401CE, a four-probe, high speed, in-circuit test station was chosen for its ease of use and proven reliability and was supplied and installed by Testline of Potton, Bedfordshire.

CIL sales manager, Chris Heal, said: “At CIL we recognise that quality and proof of test is now the most important criterion for the vast majority of our customers and this new machine will improve our already extensive test and verification capability enhancing both our capacity and flexibility”.
