Naavinya CAD Soft Ltd (NCS) in Bangalore and Gandhinagar, India, a renowned service partner to many European PCB manufacturers in the CAD/CAM field who take over, check and process customer PCB data in readiness for production, received now the approval of its QMS in accordance to ISO 9001. The certification was done by the Dutch institute KEMA Quality BV.
NCS employs without exception highly qualified engineers. RUWEL International GmbH, Germany, one of Europe’s most important producers of PCBs for the world’s electronics industry, own 80 per cent of the shares. RUWEL has been cooperating very successfully with NCS for many years now. Owing to generally shorter product life cycles and an increasing variety of types, the average number of pieces per circuit board has been declining steadily in recent years and this trend is expected to continue. Batch sizes are diminishing, while the variety of types is on the increase. That means, considerably more work on the technical preparation side. Qualified engineers are currently in short supply in Germany. For that reason, RUWEL decided to handle the growing additional need for job scheduling by way of their time-proven partner in India. All engineers there have many years’ specific experience in circuit board layout and design. Each of the Indian engineers was trained in specialities at RUWEL in Germany.
