Abstract

The first question which can be raised is: “What is the New Research Programme?”, using Lakatos's language which is the same as “What is the New Paradigm?”, using Kuhn's terminology. The answer is simple but with far reaching consequences. It is a sui generis synthesis of two previous revolutions in economic and social thinking respectively, the classical and modern economics and social science.
