Abstract

In the fall of 1993, the law school will be going into its fifth year of being networked, and the application that has had the most impact on the culture of the institution is electronic mail. We have realized many of the usual advantages of networking including sharing scarce resources like software licenses, printing, and connection to external services like LEXIS and WESTLAW over the network. E‐mail, however, has changed the culture of the school and worked itself into the daily lives of every student, faculty, and staff member.
